Food
There are hundreds of places to eat on the Cape, but these are some of our favorites.

Osterville Fish Too
next door to Matakesse... classic clam shack with outdoor seating and great milkshakes

Nirvana Coffee
Really good independent coffee shop with sandwiches and baked goods

Buttercup Cafe
Standard diner fair in barnstable village
Matakesse Wharf
just a couple blocks from the house with seafood, live music and views of the harbor.

Seusuit Harbor Cafe
one of our favorite spots. yummy breakfast food followed by clam shack seafood (cash only)
Chatham Bars Inn
The inn is spectacular, but expensive. make a lunch or dinner reservation and enjoy the views
Wequassett Resort
five star resort, but a great place to grab a meal even if you aren't a guest.
Inaho Japanese
Great classic japanese fair including incredibly fresh sushi

Barnstable Market
deli has a great collection of cold or hot sandwiches made to order and the Pizza is good too.
Anejo Mexican
best mexican on the cape in a cool setting on main street. We like Sam diego's too and close by.
Pizza Barbone
authentic wood fired pizza and other yummy italian fair
Naked Oyster
a little expensive, but high quality seafood and raw bar on main street

Black Cat Cafe
the black cat and black cat cafe are located in hyannis harbor. the cafe is more casual and has views of the ferries sailing

CRISP
good thin crust pizza with creative topping combinations.

Four Seas Ice Cream
There are lots of ice creams shops on the cape, but the four seas is probably the most famous. don't be scared by the long lines... it moves fast

Pan D'Avingnon
Architect
Pain D'Avignon
One of my favorite restaurants and bakeries anywhere in the world. it is a world class french bakery and bistro. warning baked goods sell out on busy weekends.
