the area surrounding the cape cod mall has pretty much everything you'd need while visiting - grocery stores, sporting goods, etc.
Chatham
main street in chatham is probably the best "Beachy" shopping area on the cape. the town is charming and full of independent retailers and restaurants
Mashpee Commons
Mashpee commons is an outdoor shopping center that is about 30-40 minutes away. take a look at their website to see if there are things that interest you before making the drive
Cape Cod Organic Farm
the farm is only about a mile from the house and in the peak summer months has a nice selection of locally grown produce.
Barnstable Market
we love barnstable market because its is so close and convenient, but it isn't inexpensive. we shop there all the time, but tend to head into hyannis for the "stock up" shopping trip
